Writing Groups on Helium

Writing Groups are a way for Helium publishers and partners to allow only certain writers to contribute to their titles. Writers who are members of these groups might have specific subject matter expertise, hold professional credentials or live within a certain region that is important to the publisher.

If you are a member of a particular group, only you will be able to see the information on your “About Me” page in edit mode. Any groups you belong to will be listed at the bottom of the page under the “Writer Biography” tab.

 
Every title on Helium is capable of being associated to a particular group. You can view which groups a title may belong to in the following places on Helium.

1.    The Marketplace Title Directory

2.    The Marketplace Publisher “About Us” page
3.    The Title Finder Results page
