Helium Widgets
Bring the best of Helium to your own website!
Helium Widgets are snippets of our great content that can show off titles and debate subjects anywhere, anytime.
Get a window into the top Helium articles by deploying our easy-to-use widgets by deploying them on your own website’s homepage, on your blog, Facebook and MySpace pages!
Helium Widgets come in two basic forms (right now, anyway – we’ll be adding more): the Article Widget and a Debate Widget. See examples below. You can “widgetize” any title on the site.

Where to place your Helium Widget
Once you’ve got the Widget code for your title, you can drop it anywhere on your page. Add it to your blog posting for the day, or imbed the widget in the navigation column on your page.
The image below shows how a widget might look on a web page.

How to widget a title
Creating a widget for any title on Helium is easy. Click the “Get a Widget for this title” icon above any title to get started.
![]()
After you click that icon, a gray box will appear, providing the three options:
1. Code to embed onto your website or blog.
2. Learn more link (which will bring you to this page)
3. A preview option so you can see what the widget will look like on a web page. The preview option will also provide the embed code.
![]()
When you’re ready to use the widget, copy the code and paste into the appropriate place on your website or blog.
To close the widget box, click on the blue “X” in the upper right corner.
REMEMBER: Helium Widgets will only show the top article for a given title.
NOTE: We do not support the multitude of blogging and website platforms. For more information about how and where to embed the widget code, we recommend consulting the user information for your particular software or platform.
