This is your main tool for moving throughout the website. On it you’ll find links to:

  • How To Guides: Helium's knowledgeable experts show you how to do all kinds of interesting things.
  • Community: Helium's member forums, covering all topics.
  • My Helium: It’s all about you. Once you become a member, you can access your “About Me” page and all your account-related information here. See the “My Helium” section of Help.
  • Join: Sign up for Helium here.
  • Log in: If you've already joined, enter your log in credentials here.

Left-hand (vertical) navigation bar

In most instances, the left-hand navigation is contextual. It will show you the topmost channel and the lower channels (leaf channels) of the article you are looking at:

Navigating Helium articles

Helium is unique because we have (and want!) multiple articles written to each title. More articles mean more information on a topic and different points of view. More articles also mean more competition for the top spot in a title group, which leads to better articles. In short, the more the merrier! To aid you in your journey through our bounty of articles, here’s a map to Helium article navigation.

The rank icon

The icon below indicates the rank of an article, as rated by Helium members. Next to the rank icon you’ll find arrows that you can use to navigate from one article to the next up and down through the ranks.
