My Helium Statistics: The place to check your star status, writing and rating scores and number of rates in the last 30 and 90 days. Keep in mind, these statistics are not presented in real-time and changes are reflected 24 to 48 hours after they occur.

    • Writing Stars: Stars are based on your number of non-Creative Writing (CW) articles and your non-CW writing score. Find the details on Writing Stars as well as the chart that explains where you are on the Helium Stars & Badges page.
    • Writing Score: Seeing your stars twinkle on and off? You’re probably on the threshold between star levels. Focus on improving your article quality, which will improve your score and move you comfortably into the higher star level. Need a little feedback to improve? Visit the Writing Critiques Forum.
    • Total non-CW [Creative Writing] articles: At Helium, we help you determine how your creative pieces are doing separately from your nonfiction work. Your Writing Stars are based on the number of non-Creative Writing pieces only.
    • Total Articles: This is the total number of articles, both creative and non-creative writing, you have on Helium.
    • % of articles in competitive titles: Basically, you need to maintain at least 10% of your non-Creative Writing articles in competitive titles. (A title becomes competitive when it has three or more articles written to it.) Caution: If this percentage nears 10% or dips below, add more articles to competitive titles, or you’ll be in danger of losing your Writing Stars! (See Point 1 under the Writing Stars section on the Helium Stars & Badges page.
    • Rating Stars: Stars are based on the intersection of your number of rates and your rating score. Find the details on Rating Stars as well as the chart that explains where you are on the Helium Stars & Badges page.
    • 90 day rating score: Get the low-down on Rating here.
    • Rates in last 90 days: The number of rates you have done in the past 90 days. Read the How to Rate page.
    • 30 day rating score: In order to get your first star, you must have a 75% rating score over the last 30 days with a minimum of 10 rates. The rating information on the 30-day rates will only apply to your first star. Get the low-down on Rating here.
    • Rates in last 30 days: The number of rates you have done in the past 30 days. See the How to Rate page.

    • Creative Writing Level: This indicates whether you have a gold, silver, or bronze Creative Writing badge and is based on your Creative Writing score. For more information about Creative Writing badges and what score you for a badge, check out the badges section of our Stars and Badges page in Help.
    • Creative Writing Score: This score works the same as your regular writing score and is based on how well your Creative Writing pieces are rated on as a whole.
    • Total Creative Writing Articles: This is the total number of articles you have in the Creative Writing Channel.
