Quality is what Helium is all about. Our rating process ensures that quality writing rises to the top. Our star system assures good writers the recognition they deserve. And now quality on Helium has a further perk: Access to the Marketplace Approved and Premier program.

What is Marketplace Approved and Premier?

Publishers have been flocking to Marketplace for solutions to their content needs. However, we have had requests from some publishers for a way to tap into Helium’s quality programs by offering their titles only to writers who pass a certain threshold of credentials. This is a great opportunity for Helium’s top-quality writers.

So we are introducing the Marketplace Approved and Premier program, where publishers specify that only writers with specific quality credentials can write to the specified titles. You’ll see these titles on the Marketplace page by looking for the word "Approved" or “Premier” next to the title. If you have Helium credentials, you’ll be able to click on the title, see the guidelines and submit your article. If you are not credentialed, you will not be able to write to these titles.

Who can write to Marketplace Approved and Premier titles?

Quality writers at Helium have special opportunities to generate freelance income and gain access to increased publishing opportunities. You have proven your professionalism on the site and in your writing. Each eligible writer will receive an About Me page badge signaling Marketplace Approved Writer or Marketplace Premier Writer.

To be credentialed as a Marketplace Approved or Premier Writer, you must have all your contact and name information filled in on the Name/Email tab of your Account Settings page, be a member in good standing of Helium and have earned credentials in at least one of the following ways:

• Marketplace Approved Writer: You must have at least one writing star
• Marketplace Premier Writer: You must have at least three writing stars

New to Helium? To encourage all writers to participate, we are introducing Professional Credentialing. You must first be a member of Helium. Then, if you spend at least half your time freelancing, writing or editing, please submit your resume and a link to your About Me page along with suitable clips to Content@Helium.com with “Professional Credentials” in the subject line. Each resume submission will be reviewed. If we agree based on the information you provide, you will be added to the Marketplace Premier Writer list.
